Testimonies From RSU Alumni.....

My name is Teresa Bradley, I am the President of the Right Side Up Alumni program and I would just like to say that becoming a part of MARR has been a blessing in my life.  After leaving the program I received the Alumni of the year award in 2007….I am currently finishing my degree in Human Services and will be attending Mercer University graduate school to obtain my masters in counseling.

It is because of the love that I received while there and the support from the staff and my peers that I am able to move forward in my life. A favorite bible verse which appears on my Alumni plaque is Roman 8:31…”What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us.”

My name is Tracy S. I came to Right Side Up in May 5, 2005.  I did one year in residential and 6 months in Transitional.  When I came my baby was 5wks old.  In May of 2009 I will celebrate 4yrs clean, and in April my baby will be 4 yrs.  Once we entered into those doors we have not looked back.  I am so grateful for MARR and the program of NA, because GOD blessed us by placing us where we did,  I am more than willing to be a part of the Alumni Association.  Several times, alumni have attempted to start meetings at the DeKalb site, and to no avail it did not last long.  I do hope that with this part of the Alumni association getting started we will be able to do more for the women that are following in our footsteps.
